Introduction to Progressive Web Apps
This talk will introduce what it means to be app-like and the advantages the web can bring to app delivery and deployment. Exploring how the web platform enables these goals using new technology such as the Web App manifest and Service Workers to accomplish what an app offers such as push notifications and offline support. Finally how to make a web page feel app-like by being made to start fast and run fast.
